Returns Policy
Mutape connects you with trusted, nearby suppliers. When you place an order and choose a supplier, returns are handled directly between you and that supplier and are subject to the supplier’s own return policy.
How Returns Work
- Find your supplier details. Your order confirmation and order page include the supplier’s name and contact information. If you can’t find it, reach out to us atmutape@clouditate.com.
- Contact the supplier to initiate the return. Follow the supplier’s instructions and policy (time windows, condition, packaging, and any restocking requirements).
- Complete the return with the supplier. The supplier will handle collection/shipping and confirm the outcome (exchange or refund) according to their policy.

Notes
- Supplier return policies vary by brand and location. The eligibility, timeframes, and outcomes (exchange or refund) are determined by the supplier you selected.
- For safety and hygiene reasons, suppliers may decline returns for items that are damaged due to misuse or missing accessories/packaging.
Refund Policy
Mutape connects you with suppliers. Refunds for returned products are handled by the supplier you selected in accordance with their refund policy. We’re here to help coordinate if needed, but the supplier determines eligibility and timing of refunds.
How Refunds Work
- Initiate a return with your supplier. Follow the steps in our Returns Policy to start the process with the supplier named on your order.
- Supplier review. The supplier evaluates eligibility under their policy (condition, timeframe, packaging, etc.).
- Refund processing. If approved, the supplier will process your refund and confirm timelines.
Refund Process

- Share your order number and reason for the return/refund.
- Follow the supplier’s instructions to complete the process.
- Timelines vary by supplier; once approved, the supplier will confirm when the refund will be issued.
Refund Method
Refunds are typically issued by the supplier to your original payment method. You’ll be notified by the supplier once processed. If you need assistance tracking a refund, contact us and we’ll help coordinate.

How Fulfilment Works
When your order is created on Mutape, it’s broadcast to suppliers in locations closest to your delivery area. Suppliers respond with price and availability, and you choose the supplier you prefer based on price and proximity.
Once selected, the supplier you chose prepares your order and delivers the product to you.
Order Confirmation
All deliveries are processed only after the customer has confirmed their order. Once confirmed, your chosen supplier will prepare your package for delivery.
Delivery Charges
- Harare: $5 flat rate.
- Other cities in Zimbabwe: $10 flat rate.
Delivery Timeline
Deliveries are typically made within 1–2 business daysafter order confirmation. The exact duration depends on your location and the supplier’s courier availability:
- Harare: Typically within 1 day.
- Other cities: Within 1–2 days depending on courier availability.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Mutape collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services. It also explains your choices regarding that information. If you sign in with Google, we access and use certain Google account information as described below.
Data Accessed
When you choose to sign in with Google ("Sign in with Google"), Mutape may access the following types of Google account data, depending on the permissions (scopes) you approve:
- Basic profile information: your name and profile picture (scope:

email). - OpenID identifier: a stable identifier associated with your Google account (scope:

Data Usage
We use Google account data for the following purposes:
- Authentication: to create and authenticate your Mutape account (so you don’t need a separate username/password).
- Personalization: to pre-fill your account profile (name, avatar) and personalize your shopping experience.
- Account management: to contact you about your orders, account, support requests, and service updates using the email address associated with your Google account.
How We Store and Share Data
We store only the information necessary to provide our service. We do not sell your Google account data. We may share information with trusted service providers who help operate our site (for example, email delivery providers or analytics services). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and only use it for Mutape-related purposes.
Order Fulfilment With Suppliers
When you create an order on Mutape, we broadcast the order to suppliers located closest to your delivery area. Those suppliers may respond with pricing and availability, and you can then choose which supplier you prefer based on price and proximity.
To fulfil your order, we share limited personal information with the supplier you select: specifically your name and delivery location. This information is used solely to prepare, deliver, and support your order.
The selected supplier is responsible for delivering the product to you. Returns, exchanges, or refunds for products are handled directly between you and the supplier and are subject to that supplier’s own policies. Retention and Deletion
We retain your account information for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support (see contact info below).
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to employees and contractors who need it to perform their job duties.
Your Choices
If you used "Sign in with Google", you can revoke Mutape's access in your Google account settings at any time. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
