Returns Policy
At Mutape, we want you to be happy with your new mobile phone! We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned, and you may need to return a device. Please read our returns policy carefully to ensure a smooth process.
Eligible Returns:
We'll accept returns for mobile phones that are dead on arrival (DOA). This means the phone didn't power on or function correctly immediately after being unboxed and charged for the first time.
Non-Eligible Returns:
Unfortunately, we can't accept returns for phones that have been:
- Dropped or show signs of physical impact.
- Exposed to water or any other liquids.
These types of damage aren't covered under our return policy.
How to Initiate a Return:
If your Mutape phone was DOA, please follow these steps to initiate a return:
- Contact our Customer Service within 7 days of delivery. You can reach us via 0773057669 or mutape@clouditate.com.
- Provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
- Our customer service team will guide you through the return process, which may include troubleshooting steps to confirm the phone is indeed DOA.
Important Notes:
- All returned phones must be in their original packaging with all accessories included.
- Upon successful verification of the DOA status, we'll offer you a replacement phone or a full refund to your original payment method.

Refund Policy
At Mutape, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely happy with your smartphone purchase and it meets our return conditions, we will issue a refund.
Refund Conditions:
- The refund request must be made within 7 days of receiving the phone.
- The phone must be in like-new condition with no physical damage or signs of misuse.
- All original accessories and packaging must be included.
- You must provide a valid proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
Non-Refundable Cases:
- Phones that are damaged, dropped, or show signs of misuse.
- Devices exposed to liquids or altered (e.g., rooted or jailbroken).
- Requests made after the 7-day period.
Refund Process:

- Include your order number and a description of the issue.
- Once approved, follow the instructions provided by our team.
- After inspection and confirmation, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.

- Harare: $5 flat rate.
- Other cities in Zimbabwe: $10 flat rate.

Deliveries are made within 1–2 business days after order confirmation. The exact duration depends on your location:
- Harare: Typically within 1 day.
- Other cities: Within 1–2 days depending on courier availability.
